How to apply for a collaborator account
Only the principal investigator can apply for a supercomputer account for collaborators.
Applications from collaborators themselves are not accepted.
- The “Principal Investigator” applies for a collaborator account from this system.
– Select the appropriate group from “Account Management” on the top menu bar.
– Read the terms of use carefully, agree to them, and apply for a collaborator account. (Account system status: pending) - The Supercomputer Center verifies the attribute information of the account the “Principal Investigator” is applying for.
– If there are no issues, change the status. (Account system status: confirmed) - The account is registered on the supercomputer.
– To complete the registration an e-mail is sent to the “Principal Researcher” and all “collaborators” of the account. (Account system status: confirmed)
SSH public key registration is required to connect to the frontend (login node) of the supercomputer.
Details are provided in the SSH public key registration procedure.
Because the URL of the page containing the SSH public key registration procedure is included in the email sent as notification of registration completion, there is no need for the Principal Investigator to notify collaborators of this URL.
