Regarding the Reduction in System Size for System B (Ohtaka)

To All Users of the Institute for Solid State Physics Supercomputer

Thank you for your continued use of the Institute for Solid State Physics Supercomputer System.

Effective July 13, 2026, the number of CPU servers in System B (ohtaka) has been reduced by 144 nodes,
resulting in a total of 1,536 nodes with a total theoretical peak performance of 6.291 PFLOPS and a total main memory capacity of 379 TiB.

Consequently, the maximum number of concurrent jobs that can run on the F/L/B144cpu partition has been reduced from 3 to 2.

Please be aware of this change.
