Activity Report ISSN 2188-5001

The supercomputer of the Institute of Solid State Physics is used by many researchers throughout Japan. The ISSP publishes its research results in the “ISSP Supercomputer Activity Report.
The latest Activity Report 2021 lists the results of each of the following projects conducted in school year 2021: First-Principles Calculation of Materials Properties (142), Strongly Correlated Quantum Systems (29), and Cooperative Phenomena in Complex, Macroscopic Systems (128).
The volume also includes a review of recent research in the groups of Prof. Ikutaro HAMADA of Osaka University, Prof. Hisazumi AKAI of ISSP, and Dr. Ryo TAMURA of NIMS as invited papers.

Annual Workshop

We hold an annual workshop for ISSP supercomputer users to report their achievements. In recent years, it has also served as an joint workshop with the Center of Computational Materials Science.

User questionnaire

The ISSP Supercomputer Center conducts user questionnaires to investigate the actual conditions of use of the system, to obtain users’ satisfaction with the system and their wishes, and to help with system management and procurement.
